The 3 Soil Tip Kit is a 39” tube kit with 3 replaceable screw-on soil tips so you can be prepared for most soil and moisture conditions.
This soil fertility kit comes with a 12" handle, two 12" extension rods, and a 15" tube that will take a sample approximately 12" long by 3/4" diameter. The outer diameter of the tube is 15/16".The tube is designed to eliminate friction in the tube after cutting the sample. The tube has a non-clogging design with a cut-out in the front to allow for easy soil removal, visual inspection, and cleaning. The sample is unloaded from the tube without binding or compacting. It is marked at 6" intervals to indicate sampling depth.
When both extension rods are used the soil probe extends to 39" to save your back from bending and allowing for deeper sampling.
Includes replaceable, screw-on Regular Soil Tip, Dry Soil Tip, and a Wet Soil Tip so you can sample in a variety of soil conditions. A Tip Wrench is also included to help add and remove tips more easily. Parts are easily taken apart for convenient, compact carrying in durable 13" round fiberboard carrying case.
