The Complete Insect Sweep Net is used to gather insects in field crops, grass and vegetation for identification, photography, inspection, or hobby. It can also be a cost effective way to monitor for the presence of insect pests, and is incredibly durable and lightweight to use.
The funnel shaped net is hand sewn with a fine mesh that is strong and weather resistant. It is designed to keep moisture off, and dry out very quickly. It also allows a free flow of air through the material, while still catching tiny insects. The strong canvas band around the hoop holds up under tough use and will not allow the net to bunch or roll up around the frame. The hoop easily detaches for transport or changing the net bag. It also includes a comfortable 30" long x 1 1/8" diameter wooden handle, 15" steel extra-strong hoop frame, and a chrome plated steel sleeve that secures the hoop to the handle.
It comes fully assembled so it's ready to use right out of the box. All Insect Sweep Net parts can also be purchased separately making it possible to buy parts as needed.
